The other day I had my first go at dying wool with landscape dyes. I over dyed stone BWM and it almost turned out just how I wanted. I am kinda happy with the result. It is for a swap I am doing on a forum I am on. The lucky recipient will be a newbie baby, gender to be announced next week. The mum loves greens and frogs so I was going for a kinda swampy pond looking colour. I am not sure if I achieved it or not, but eh, the more I look at it the more I like it.
If its a girl I want to embellish a hot pink Lilly pad on it. I think it will look awesome. Not sure for the boy though lol. Might leave it plain and embellish a beanie or something.
I can't wait to get stuck into it. But next time I think I might leave the dying to the pros.
