I just got the best email today from a friend. Woolworths will now deliver to Leinster!!!! YIPPEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can not express how excited I am about this. Yeah I know, its just Woolworths and its only shopping. But with our high prices and very limited variety it is a very welcome and useful tool.
I am looking around and OMG I can order fresh breads and pastries, frozen goods, basically everything they sell in Perth.
The only thing I worry about is if everyone in town starts using this service, what happens to the supermarket? It is only small and they really do try to be competitive with their prices. Maybe when they hear word, they surely have to start introducing specials and lower some of their prices. It is the only shop in 148kms so I guess they cant go out of business. Lets just hope BHP see it that way.
Now to start emptying the cupboards so I can stock up lol
