A few months back the 5 minute mug cake was a huge hit. Easy and mess free sweet tooth fix, what is there not to love. Most of the suggested recipes I had tried were quite dense and rubbery, I even came across a forum that had over 200 pages bagging the mug cake with disaster pictures and all.
Well, I tried this one the other night and OMG its T.H.E best one ever.
I had sifted the dry ingredients onto a glass bowl instead of 2 mugs. The added backing power and covering with glad wrap makes a massive difference. I left the coffee out because it was past 10pm lol.
Mmmm lashing of cream YUMMMM!!!
And because I was the only one partaking in the late snack there were left overs for the next night :D Covered in glad wrap and nuked for a minute perfect. Still light and fluffy.
She has also done a 5 minute cheese mug cake too. Oh dear I am definitely going to have to make that one...............if I can remember to get the cream cheese lol.
